Terms & privacy
The standard terms of a hotel’s guest guide built with CGXP. A hotel may use its own; its guide’s footer links to whichever applies.
Whose guide this is
Everything in this guide is written and managed by your hotel: its pages, recommendations, opening hours, prices, contacts, links and photographs. The guide is built with CGXP, software made by Compass Tech Labs LLC of Boston, Massachusetts. We provide the tool; the hotel provides the content and is responsible for it. Questions about anything in the guide are best asked at the front desk.
Using the guide
By using the guide you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
It is information, not a guarantee
Hours, prices, menus, events and availability change, sometimes after the guide was last updated. Before you rely on anything, especially a booking, an opening time or a price, confirm it with the venue or the front desk.
Recommendations are suggestions
A place listed in the guide is not an endorsement or a guarantee of its quality, safety, accessibility or service. Every business is responsible for its own premises, products and services, and any booking or purchase you make is between you and that business.
Links and maps go to other companies
Websites, booking pages, maps, videos and apps opened from the guide belong to other companies and have their own terms and privacy policies. Maps and directions are provided by Google and are subject to Google's terms. Walking times and distances are estimates: take care, follow local signs and laws, and use your own judgment.
The concierge is automated
If the guide offers a concierge you can type or talk to, its answers are generated by artificial intelligence from the hotel's own guide. It can be wrong or incomplete, and it cannot make bookings, promises or changes on the hotel's behalf. For anything important, ask a person at the front desk.
Not for emergencies, and not advice
In an emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) or the front desk. Nothing in the guide or from the concierge is medical, legal, dietary or allergy advice; if you have an allergy or a medical need, check with the restaurant, the venue or a professional directly.
Codes and passwords
The Wi-Fi password is shown to every guest. If your hotel sends you a private link that shows a door or lock code, it is for your stay only: please do not share it.
Please use it fairly
Do not try to reach parts of the service that are not meant for you, send automated requests to it, or copy a guide to publish elsewhere.
Provided as is
The guide is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, the hotel and Compass Tech Labs LLC give no warranties about it and are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or reliance on it, or from a business, website or app it links to. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under the consumer protection law where you live that cannot lawfully be limited.
Your privacy
- No app, no account, no cookies. If you change the text size, that choice is kept in your own browser and nowhere else.
- We count which pages and buttons are used, so the hotel can see what is helpful, never who used them. Your IP address is never stored, individual events are deleted within 60 days, and the hotel only ever sees totals.
- A question typed to the concierge is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to be answered from the hotel’s guide. We keep the text for up to 30 days, remove anything that looks like a code or password straight away, and then keep only the topic. The hotel never sees what you typed.
- If you speak to the concierge, your browser asks first, the microphone is used only while you are talking, and your voice goes to OpenAI to be understood and answered. Neither provider may use it to train their models.
- A map page loads Google Maps, so Google receives your IP address when that page opens. Videos play through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
- Calling or messaging the hotel opens your own phone’s apps. We never see those messages.
- We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
For your stay itself, the hotel’s own privacy notice applies. Full privacy policy
