A guide built for your hotel, compared with everything else you will be offered.

A hotel looking for a digital guest guide is offered four other kinds of product. This page says what you get with us, what each of the others is, and what we do not do.

What this page is based on
  • Seven companies, each read on its own website
  • Checked on October 12, 2026
  • No prices quoted for anybody, ours included
  • Where another product does more than ours, it says so

What you get with us.

Six things, each beside what it replaces.

The short version

A finished guide in your brand, and a concierge inside it.

We build it. Your guests open it with one scan, in their own language. Your team keeps it current.

  • Live in about thirty days
  • In 14 languages, with no app
  • A report every week on what guests used
The Continental’s home screen, in the hotel’s own brand
A question asked in Spanish, answered in Spanish

It is done for you

We design it, write it from what you send us, and launch it in about thirty days. Your team starts with a finished guide.

Instead ofA login and an empty template

It looks like your hotel

Your logo, your colors and your fonts, designed page by page. Nothing in front of the guest says CGXP.

Instead ofYour logo on a layout every other hotel has

Your desk gets its time back

The Wi‑Fi, the hours, the way to the pool and the late checkout are on the guest’s phone before they reach the counter.

Instead ofThe same ten questions, all shift

Nothing it says is made up

The concierge answers only from what your team wrote. It says so when it does not know, puts emergency numbers first, and never reads out a door code.

Instead ofA chatbot that has read the internet

Nothing to install, connect or learn

No app for the guest. No link to your property system. One editor, in a browser, for your team.

Instead ofAn IT project before the first guest sees it

You are not locked in

A setup fee and a monthly fee, with thirty days’ notice. And you talk to the person who built it.

Instead ofA long contract and a support queue

Four kinds of product, and who makes them.

They overlap, and several companies sell more than one.

Guest platforms

Duve · Canary Technologies · Akia

One system for the whole stay: online check-in, mobile keys, upsells, a messaging inbox with AI replies, and a room directory or compendium as one part of it. Connected to your property system.

Choose one when you want check-in, keys and payments on the guest’s phone, and you have the systems and the people to connect them.

Guidebook builders

Touch Stay · Hinfo

Software for making a digital guidebook or compendium yourself. You get an editor and a template; your team writes it and keeps it up. Prices are low and often published.

Choose one when you have somebody with the time to build it, and a standard layout with your logo is enough.

In-room tablets

SuitePad

A tablet on the nightstand with the guest directory, room service ordering and offers on it. Some also offer a version for the guest’s own phone.

Choose one when you want a screen in every room and to sell from it.

AI chat and messaging

HiJiffy

A chatbot and a shared inbox for your website, WhatsApp and other channels, built mostly to answer questions and win direct bookings.

Choose one when the problem is inquiries before the booking, across many channels.

The same ten questions, asked of each.

A column describes a kind of product, so one company in it may differ. Read from each company’s own website on October 12, 2026: Duve, Canary Technologies, Akia, Touch Stay, Hinfo, SuitePad, HiJiffy. Which to choose.

Somebody else is the better choice if

  • You want guests to check in, open their door or pay on their phone
  • You want the guide tied to each reservation in your property system
  • You want to build it yourself for the lowest monthly price
  • You want a screen in every room

We are the better choice if

  • You want it built for you, and to look like your hotel and nobody else’s
  • Your front desk answers the same questions all shift
  • You want a concierge that only says what your team wrote, and never a door code
  • You do not want an IT project, a new system or an app

Questions about choosing.

Is CGXP Studio a replacement for Duve, Canary or Akia?

Not exactly. Those are systems for the whole stay, with check-in, keys and payments. We make the guide and the concierge inside it. Some hotels will want one of them and not us; a hotel that only needs its guests to find things and ask questions does not need the larger system.

Can we use CGXP alongside a guest platform or a brand app?

Yes. The guide opens from a QR code or a link and needs no connection to anything, so it sits beside whatever you already run.

Why would we pay for a built guide when a guidebook tool costs less?

Because somebody has to build it and keep it good. With a tool that is your team; with us it is our work, designed for your hotel, and your team only keeps it current.

Do you connect to our property management system?

No. Nothing in the guide needs it: there is no check-in and no payment. That is also why there is no IT project to launch it.
